SYNOPSIS

The synopsis is a marketing tool.

In order to sell your script, you need to tell a producer/agent/manager what your story is about. These busy professionals don’t have time to read your script. They want the story in a nutshell. That nutshell is your synopsis.

Your job is twofold: to impress them with your story and your writing ability.

How do you condense our story down to one riveting page? If you’ve tried and found the task impossible, I can help.

I won’t write the synopsis for you, but I will edit yours down to just a page and add spice. This step should really be done AFTER a full blown evaluation of the script. Once the script has reached its full potential, then a synopsis will be necessary.

LOGLINE

This is by far most screenwriters’ least favorite task. Many say that writing the story is child’s play compared to trying to explain it in 25 words or less.

For a small fee, I will create a logline for you from your synopsis. I will even give you TWO to choose from. That’s a mega-deal!


Screenplay Critique (up to 110 pages) (Add $2 per page over 110 pages). An overview focusing on premise, plot, dialogue and characters. Separate notes (3 to 4 pages) on any problem areas.	$150.

Screenplay Consultation and Line-by-Line Script Analysis (up to 110 pages) (Add $2 per page over 110 pages). In depth, line by line, critique emphasizing premise, plot, dialogue, characters and formatting. Plus three to four pages of notes. Notes written directly on your script.	$250.

Synopsis editing and Logline Editing YOUR synopsis down to one page and a logline. These are marketing essentials for every script! Please submit YOUR synopsis, which I will then enhance to make it more appealing. (An extra charge will be applied if you wish a synopsis written from scratch)	$60.

Editing -- Formatting and Grammar Errors For those who ONLY want to make sure that their script is in prime shape and ready to send to a producer. For this service I will ONLY be reading for formatting and grammar errors. For this service I will NOT comment on the script's content. ( For this service you will be required to submit the script in proper screenplay format--Final Draft, Screenwriter 2000, etc.)	$125.

Logline One sentence that says it all. For some, it's harder than writing the entire script. I'll give you TWO (for the same script), so you can make a choice. You can't beat this deal!	$25.

Script Doctoring: Basic Polish Improve the dialogue, tighten the description, clarify or change the tone, and elevate scenes without major changes to the plot. Rewrite Improve or change the plot, add or delete significant elements of a completed script. This includes a Basic Polish.	$500. $3000. to $5000. NEGOTIABLE
